YAKONE KAYA TOAST ESTABLISHED SINCE IDK
help get photoshop away from me
it’s probably something only singaporeans can understand so :|
this shouldnt have made me laugh as hard as it did
The realization that this actually all pretty much started with Hama discovering bloodbending.
What the actual fuck man
You bitch
I thought I hated you before
Imagine my hatred now
lol yeah hate the bitch who was implied to have been raped and tortured in prison
you go bro
Hamma discovered bloodbending all on her own, without external help from scrolls or tutors. So technically, even though she was the first bloodbender we witnessed, she isn’t necessarily the only waterbender that knew about bloodbending.
It’s not like that Hamma was the one that taught Yakone to bloodbend. (She’s like over a 100 years old in ATLA.)
I’m sure Katara would’ve insisted on banning bloodbending like, EVERYWHERE. Even on the dark side of the moon.
Amon/Naotak’s ancestors probably had known about bloodbending regardless of Hamma, since yknow, they apparently came from a line of gifted ~psychic bloodbenders~ or smth. Maybe Hamma was one of Yakone’s ancestors, but that still doesn’t make the whole Amon thing her fault lol that’s just silly

This one goes out to you, little Tarrlok… That boat scene killed me, I couldn’t even enjoy the Makorra after it cause it was so sad! I don’t even know why I did this, I almost cried recording it. I’m such a masochist. That finale was incredible and I absolutely loved it.
When my brother loved me, everything was beautiful
Every hour we played together, lives within my heart
And when I was sad, he was there to dry my tears
And when he was happy, so was I, when he loved meThrough the summer and the fall, we had each other, that was all
Just he and I together, a perfect family
And when I was lonely, he was there to comfort me
And I knew that he loved meSo the years went by, dad made us train
And he began to drift away, I was left alone
Still I waited for the day, when he’d say “I will always love you.”Lonely and forgotten, never thought we’d meet again,
He called my name and asked me once again to run away,
Like he loved me, when he loved meWhen my brother loved me, everything was beautiful,
Now we’ll finally go back to our start
When he loved me(Download link here. ♥)
fml crying cant stop

The Equalists - Unresolved Social Issues in Republic City
Removing Amon from the equation does not mean the end of the Equalist movement. Or at least it should not.
Amon get’s taken down because the populace still hate benders…
Social inequalities do not disappear if you remove the leader, and I’d be really disappointed if this is the last we hear from the Equalists.
Not only did we see more desperate need for social reform in this episode i.e. the homeless camp in the sewers, but neither have any of the existing issues been solved. There is a reason thousands of people joined the Equalists in the first place: The council and government are still unbalanced and still favor water, air and earth benders.
Also, please do not forget that this was not an outside force invading Republic City, this was Republic City citizens rebelling against an unfair system. This system still exists. Removing the leader solves nothing, in fact would make it worse. If this were the real world, there would be riots in the streets.
Defeating Amon solved none of the above.
Here’s my prediction for season two: The Lieutenant and Sato are going to pick up where Amon left off, and take over the Equalist movement.

Also: MWUAHAH called it weeks ago.
Is Amon a bender? The evidence speaks for it.
Part Three: Energybending vs Taking Someone’s Bending

As of this morning’s episode, I think I’ve been able to piece together what happened 42 years prior to the events of The Legend of Korra.

I would hate for such a cliche to be in the series.

Bolin is definitely gay.
(Wishful thinking…)So here’s my head canon about Bolin’s sexuality:
I think he’s probably bisexual, but has never thought about it that much, he’d just come home from school one day and happily announce his new crush to Mako.
“Mako! I think it’s love~!”
And Mako would just roll his eyes and smile because this had happened a hundred times at least, sometimes it would be boys, sometimes it would be girls and a few times it would be somewhere in between.
And Bolin, with his adokable ways would always ask them out with adorable compliments and flowers and 90% of the time he would be turned down. This would never put him off, though, he still had hope that some day, someone would say yes.
This is flawless.
I enjoy this.
this pleases me so

Man Tenzin is going to have the BEST MORNINGS EVER living with three airbending kids, four teenagers, and a pregnant wife.
And by best I mean worst.
